This popular Canadian brand forms a part of Godin, which has been producing these precisely made instruments since 1982. The company philosophy is simple - providing essential components for professional and custom made guitars, such as massive panels and beautifully treated instrument surfaces, to musicians with an ordinary income. Everybody should have a right to a fine instrument.

All Seagull guitars are made from the beginning to the end in Canada, a fact that the company is appropriately proud of. Its instruments are born in a little village of LaPatrie, not far from Quebec. The current population of the village is only 475 - however, about half of its residents are involved in the guitar production process. They have made the appreciated S6 model, beautiful finishes of the Burnt Umber type or excellent guitars of the Artist series.

Seagull is also proud of its sustainable development. It cooperates exclusively with logging companies that thoroughly replace the cut trees by planting new ones. A specialized team oversees the timber selection process and its origin. The team is responsible for the Natural Elements guitar series, for the production of which trunks of the environmentally replaced trees are used instead of exotic timber.

The backbone of the company is formed by acoustic and electroacoustic guitars of several lines, suitable for a wide range of music styles and approaches. Apart from guitars, the company also makes mandolins and M4 instruments, based on dulcimers.
