Kahua is an Asian brand which offers ukuleles made from traditionally used woods as well as from exotics. The instruments are available in all common sizes (soprano, concert and tenor). The variety of woods used for bodies and necks of these ukuleles is handsomely complemented by walnut fingerboards and saddles. The instruments feature chrome hardware and machine heads of the type commonly used on guitars. The company’s wide portfolio includes instruments for advanced players as well as for beginners.
Apart from manufacturing instruments, Kahua actively collaborates with the “Playing For Change Foundation“ from Thailand. The instruments are used for a good cause - in lectures and various activities for the children of imprisoned parents. The company’s responsible relationship with the environment is reflected in its cooperation with the “One Tree Planted” organization. Kahua also plants a tree for each instrument it sells.
